Let's talk about what makes a sneaker sustainable? How can you tell if what you're buying is an eco-friendly pair of sneakers or not? What are the most important aspects of a low waste pair of kicks?

Tricky topic as sneakers (and shoes in general) are made of a variety of materials. Each sneaker component (insoles, laces, upper etc.) is typically a distinct fabric or material. We look at the most common types of materials used that we'd consider are eco-friendly.

We also talk about 4 really cool sustainable sneaker brands who are taking the time to build legit eco kicks that I've had the pleasure of testing out - all highly recommended.
