Malas are beautiful tools to work with for deeper contemplation and focus and even to wear as sacred adornments.
Traditionally, a mala is a strand of 108 beads used in meditation and prayer. Mala means 'garland' in Sanskrit, and the 108 beads represent the whole of the universe, according to Vedic cosmology. By repeating mantras while working with a mala, you can let go of distracting thoughts and emotions, cultivate a sense of inner peace, and connect with a deeper sense of meaning and purpose.
