Japanese Peppermint Oil Product Description

Sourced locally in North America, the Japanese Peppermint plant has many uses, and so does its essential oil. Although it’s similar to Peppermint oil, Japanese Peppermint essential oil contains a higher percentage of the chemical constituent menthol, giving it a more potent, minty aroma. For this reason, Japanese Peppermint is often the ingredient of choice in many commercial lozenges. When used topically, Japanese Peppermint oil provides a cooling and invigorating effect on the skin, perfect for a personal massage after exercising or a tiresome workday. Continue to enjoy its topical benefits in your evening shower or bath routine, or create an uplifting, vibrant atmosphere in your living space by diffusing Japanese Peppermint oil. With its revitalizing aroma and delightful topical uses, there’s no question that Japanese Peppermint is “mint” to be added to your essential oils collection.

How do I use Japanese Peppermint oil?

  1. Haircare Routine: Enhance your shower routine by adding a drop of Japanese Peppermint oil to your shampoo for an invigorating aroma and cool sensation as you gently massage your scalp.
  2. Shower Steam: For a stimulating steam effect accompanied by a rejuvenating aroma, add one drop of Japanese Peppermint to the shower floor.
  3. Foot Bath: After a long day, add one or two drops of Japanese Peppermint oil to a warm foot bath and delight in the soothing effect on your feet accompanied by an uplifting aroma.
  4. Post-Workout Massage: For an invigorating massage after a workout, combine a drop of Japanese Peppermint oil with five drops of Fractionated Coconut Oil and gently massage on desired areas of your body for an invigorating, cooling effect on the skin.
  5. Afternoon Pick-Me-Up: In the middle of a busy workday grab your bottle of Japanese Peppermint oil and inhale the refreshing, minty aroma as you go about the rest of your day.
  6. Skin-cooling Spray: The high menthol content in Japanese peppermint oil makes it particularly cooling to the skin. On a hot day, prepare this and use Japanese Peppermint in place of Lavender oil.
  7. Diffusion: Add two to three drops of Japanese Peppermint essential oil in your favourite diffuser to create an aromatically refreshing and uplifting environment in your home or office.
